Edward PouquetteResident of Park City, Utah 1918 - 2010Edward Pouquette, beloved father and grandfather, passed away quietly on July 27, 2010 in Park City, Utah at the home of his son Ed Pouquette Jr. Edward was born on July 22, 1918 in San Francisco and lived in the Bay Area for many years. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II and had some wild stories that he loved to recount about his adventures all over the world. Edward lived in Sparks, Nevada in the late 50s until the mid 60s. He and his family moved to Park City where they owned and operated a restaurant. Edward returned to the Bay Area in 1969, settling in San Jose and lived there until the early 2000s, before moving to Bozeman MT and then, finally this spring, back to Park City.Edward is survived by his sons Ed, Gene and Jim Pouquette, his daughter Jolie Pouquette Church, as well as his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His smile, kindness and quirky sense of humor is greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.Edward is preceded in death by his father Emile Pouquette and his mother Julie Moulia Pouquette Moore, as well as by his former wife Barbara Gavin Pouquette.
